Based in Windsor, our team of nine experienced hair and makeup artists work with brides, bridal parties and clients across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex and Hertfordshire.

We look after weddings and events, shoots and makeup lessons, travelling to you, across the home counties.

The big trend for 2026 is real skin. Regularly I'm seeing brides and clients choosing tinted moisturiser or CC creams for their base instead of foundation- and you know what, I'm here for it!

If you're a 2027 bride, get working in your skin, so it can look like Laura's!

If you have done the work, you can achieve beautiful skin without foundation. Sometimes you just need a little balance of tone.

& I know you're thinking, this probably won't last... but you'd be wrong. With the correct layering of product, this will last all day long.

Controversial opinion… I don’t think bridal hair & makeup artists should automatically wear black

Don't hate me 🤭

I think black is so ingrained in us as hair & makeup artists. If you’ve worked in a salon, backstage at fashion week or on a fashion shoot, black is basically the uniform.

But weddings are different.

For me, being a bridal artist is about looking at the whole picture; the venue, the room, the bride, the flowers, the styling and thinking about how I can fit into that aesthetic rather than just automatically reaching for black.

Sometimes I’ll wear beige or cream because I want to blend into a soft, neutral space. If it’s a colourful wedding or there’s a particular vibe, I might choose something that works with that too.

And there’s a practical reason…

Black can look SO harsh next to ivory and white, and when you’re in lots of the getting-ready photos, it can really stand out, especially in those beautiful, light, fine-art style images where everything is soft and airy.

It can also make life a little harder for photographers when they’re editing.

I’m not saying 'never wear black', I personally just think we’ve probably all got so used to it that we don’t really question it.

And yes… I’m fully aware that my black kit bags are still the biggest eyesore in the room. 😂

How perfect is Leigh's hair? A total dream to work on and no extensions were needed.

Usually doing a wave pattern like this, needs clip ins to add volume, assist structure and make the hair one length.

Choosing the perfect Hair for your wedding day does depend a lot on what your natural hair is like in the first place… This doesn't mean we can use a few smoke mirrors to help you along the way but it does really help us (your bridal hairstylist), if you choose inspiration photos that are similar to your natural hair.

Sometimes things are just not possible and I won't lie to you, but I'll help suggest things and I'll do my best to make it work.

My top tip:
When you're looking for a Wedding Hair Inspo , look at Instagram and real Hair And Makeup artists work, not Pinterest and avoid AI images.
